CCR

Oh, right, and here's my Creedance Clearwater Revival

Signed, Sealed, Delivered

And there it is! I present to you: Out of His Mind

I'm Alive!

So much has happened over the past four days, you have no idea. I've visited my future college at Flagler in St. Augustine with my girlfriend, mother, and family friend. After, those two days of nauseating fun, we drove (yes, drove) to Baltimore to visit my relatives and celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday. I thought I could at least finish my CCR and turn in my video while I was over there but alas, family doesn't give breaks. So here I am, showing you here on this blog that I DO have confirmation on the music from ABKCO!

Danielle is a very polite, nice, and helpful lady and I thank her to the heavens for letting me use this music.

Oh Man

Editing is all done! Actually, it finished last night but there were more technical difficulties. Go figure! As if there weren't enough in the production already. You see, last night's edit finished the video off at 2:07, which is a no-go. Max is 2:00. I had to make some cuts to the dialogue but going back and editing again actually helped a lot. I had noticed an issue that was really bothersome that I didn't notice before. Makes sense cause I finished editing around 12:15 last night. Or is it this morning? Oh well. It's all good! Expect it soon, in its under 2 minute, high-def, slightly shaken magnificence.

Finally!

Oh good God, it's true! Filming has commenced and finished today at 6:30 PM! Some minor tweaks had made our production run a bit late but it's finally done shooting. Our cameraman, Cameron (more like Camera-n hah) was back from his trip and was able to shoot for us. Although he did not exactly capture my vision of camerawork, it came out beautifully. Our van person/set designer flaked but luckily Michael (playing Brad) had his mother's SUV to help us out. We suped it up and Bohemian-ized the hell out of it. A flowery, hemp covered masterpiece. Also, the fake cigarettes I had bought were tragically thrown out by my mother so (and I am not very proud of this) we used real ones. Yeah, we had borrowed some and used them for the final product. Needless to say, they smelled terrible and made our heads hurt, but it was amazing on screen. I am going to try and finish editing tonight so that I can upload it first thing tomorrow afternoon!

Oh, And-

I almost forgot, we're going to be cutting the bus from the opening. I know, I know, it truly is a travesty, but listen: my friend/set designer is nowhere to be found. I had messaged her and called her as much as I could before it got weird. No answer. No van. SO, we will just have to make due with my friend Michael's mom's SUV that we're actually going to be fixing up to look like a 1970s-esque VW van. As stressful as that is to type, I'm actually looking forward to Bohemian-izing the SUV. Filming will commence AND finish on Wednesday! It's all happening!

Torture Ensues

Good God, this day is already getting interesting. Danielle from ABKCO had told me to call her regarding the opening; she wants to know what it's all about and why I would like to incorporate the Stones in it. Just now, I had a chance to call her (I tried yesterday as well but calling on a Sunday did not work in my favor haha kill me) and a more than helpful man named Michael let me leave a message for her. I left my name, number, and email with him and he said that Danielle will call me whenever she gets in! I feel so grown up, wow.

Wow.

I'm mildly disappointed in myself but mostly in my faith in modern technology. A woman named Danielle, who works at ABKCO in the licensing department, had emailed me back on the 27th. I was going through my many, many emails that I receive each day and that one had popped up out of nowhere. It was in my sent, not received. So there's a chance I have licensed music for my opening! Now all I need is the opening.

God Help Me

Alright! So! things have gone a little haywire (and by little I mean disastrously) over this weekend. Lemme lay it down for you in all it's chaotic glory:
-my cameraman went away on a trip all week so now my lovely girlfriend will be filming for us
-our set designer (i.e. the person providing the van for the opening) had work all weekend, making filming go way behind schedule
-my hair is all gone and the wig I was planning on using is gone somehow?
-we have no music
-I have work practically all week, so we will really have to crunch time for filming (I can edit this easily in one night so I'm not worried about that)
-finally, the final project is due over the weekend and I leave on a trip to visit my future college and my family in Baltimore
This week should be very, very interesting. Pray for me.
